The Mummy (1932)

A year after appearing as the monster in Frankenstein horror fans flocked to theatres to see Karloff again, but this time in The Mummy.
Another favorite among directors and screenplay writers. Imhotep is revived and he stalks a woman he believes to be the reincarnation of his lover. This is kind of based on the myth that disturbing a mummy's tomb will bring a curse upon the person who disturbed it. This one is a cult classic and was terrifying at the time. It hold a special place in my heart because it was Karloff - the remake was not as scary. All in all, I say: SEE IT and compare it to the modern day remake.
