Leigh (Psycho) is a war widow with a young son. She's been dating Corey (Rear Window) for awhile, but she is really kind of doing it so her son will have a father not because she loves him. Mitchum (North and South) gets her fired close to the eve of Christmas and sort of gets her whole world turned upside down because they fall in love - at first site, but she doesn't want to admit it because she thinks he won't be reliable enough as a father. This is Mitchum at his best - funny and romantic. All in all, I say: SEE IT
