Brother Odd: An Odd Thomas Novel

Number three in Koontz's Odd Thomas series. When we left him in book 2 - he had saved a good friend, but was tired. He had gone off to a monastery to figure out what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. He meets several "brothers and sisters" and several abused and disabled children who are taken care of by the sisters. One of the brothers is killed and then bodachs appear near the kids. As more and more appear it seems that Odd will not be able to escape his gift; he uses it to defeat a new man made supernatural creature. The characters and the writing made this book interesting. The plot of how the creatures are made - stupid or rather ridiculous. All in all, I say: READ IT if you read the other two.
