In 1968 a very funny movie was released called the Odd Couple.
Neil Simon wrote the play for Broadway. Two of the funniest movie comedians of all time - Lemmon (Some Like it Hot) and Matthau (Bad News Bears) were cast. It was about two men who found themselves single and in need to sharing an apartment for money reasons. One had been married and was neat and tidy. One was always going from girl to girl and was quite messy. It was hilarious. All in all, I say: RENT IT
It was so popular that they made a tv show that ran for five seasons and a sequel.
Randall (Pillow Talk) played the neat and tidy. Klugman (12 Angry Men) played the messy. Garry Marshall created it, so you know it was awesome. All in all, I say: RENT IT
The Odd Couple II twenty years later - this was also the inspiration for Grumpy Old Men. The two take a road trip to their kids wedding.
This takes us to now - 2015.
Perry (Friends) and Lennon (Funny or Die) star. There is a lot of yelling for no reason. Perry is a mush mouth. The writing is pretty bad. The only good acting is by Lennon, but he's not going to be able to carry this on his own. All in all, I say: SKIP IT
