I have the 2nd edition - this book is awesome. It's from a person point of view who is not American but comes to America for a variety of reasons. It helps point out things we as Americans may not be aware of. It also sheds light on what it actually feels like to be in a foreign country as a student, a teacher, or an employee. Each chapter is a different person - they are mostly adults, but it still applies. All in all, I say: READ IT
