Third movie in the reboot. Written partially by Pegg. Elba (Luther) plays the bad guy this time. It's a little slower paced. Good plot, good effects, and good action when there is some. I like the first two better - I'm not saying I hate this one - it's just different. It is more like the original Star Trek films and tv series than the Abrams re-boots. There are plans for a 4th according to all the websites. With Yelchin gone I wonder how they will handle that. All in all, I say: SEE IT - people of Generation X will like the song that kills the bad guys :)
