A group of elite soldiers after being given a series of tests are assigned to survive, rescue, rebuild the US in case of an apocalypse type event. One soldier in each US state. This book introduced Lee who is in North Carolina. The military stuff is well written. Being able to read it from his point of view so we know his thinking is a good idea for this kind of book. There is an outbreak and sets out to rescue. All in all, I say: READ IT - it's only 20 chapters.
