It's the end of something that started in 1974 - JJ Abrams wrote and directed this - it ties in perfectly to the first (actually 4th in timeline). It's got action - sadness - happiness. It's now my 4th favorite in the entire series. I liked all the homage to the original Star Wars. It worked. I bet 3D was amazing. All in all, I say: SEE IT - I felt the same sadness at the end that I felt after the last Harry Potter.
