Kristin Scott Thomas ( Four Weddings & A Funeral) is like a platoon leaders wife. When the platoon heads off for another tour in Afghanistan, she is the contact person between the military brass and the partners of the soldiers. Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe) is the Lts wife. Her role is to get the partners to engage in clubs to take their minds off the deployment. She has a loose style of management and Kristin is more regimented. This is based on the true story of how the choir was created. They were invited to sing at Britain's Remembrance Concert at Royal Albert Hall. It sparked military choirs rising up in all parts of the world. All in all, I say: SEE IT - it's sad and funny. It's Pitch Perfect for adult British people. I saw it on Amazon Prime.
