On National Geographic or Hulu, this is an historical depiction of life in New France. David Thewlis (Avatar 2) is a land owner in the new colony trying to build a life for himself without being killed by the native population. Marcia Gay Harden (Moxie) is a widow who runs an Inn. She's trying to keep young girls safe in town from the men that are desperate for brides. There is a lot of political plays taking place. I really enjoy the acting and the plot. All in all, I say: SEE IT
