Empire of Blood Series

The first book - Shining in Crimson was free on kindle - again in hopes of getting the reading to buy the rest of the series. It was just horrible. It's about vampires, but they aren't interesting at all. I got 50% of the way through and just didn't care anymore about any of the characters.
